Logistics Excellence Manager (m/f/d) with immediate effect.
- You collaborate closely with our local Legal Entities globally across our regions in EMEA, AMERICA, and APAC to jointly drive continuous improvements of our logistics operations including inbound logistics, warehouse operations, and outbound distribution
- You conduct warehouse site reviews to map and analyze the end-to-end logistics operations process and information flow
- You identify improvement potentials and develop implementation plans with local Legal Entities to eliminate waste, optimize productivity and streamline operations
- You define process templates based on best-practices for internal operations and outsourced (3PL) warehouse operations
- You develop KPI metrics for logistics operations, and you implement and embed KPI's across the organization globally
- You develop quick-audits to assess warehouse performances on a regular basis for benchmarking and monitoring of improvements
- You assess “Do or Buy Decision” to support decision-making for internal or outsourced logistics operations
- Warehouse Network Modelling to simulate and optimize our warehouse footprint to meet our future business needs
- Process owner for Logistics Execution processes and 3PL integrations in ERP's, WMS, TMS and other logistics tools. Translate business needs into solution requirements, review solutions with IT, and prioritize enhancements with business stakeholders
- You deliver training for “Lean Management” to develop continuous improvement capabilities and mind set across the organization
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations or a related field
- You have 4-8 years of experience in operations roles, preferably in wholesale, retail, distribution, fulfillment or logistics service providers
- Demonstrated success in Operational Excellence and process improvements in Warehousing and Logistics
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Management or other process improvement methodologies is a strong advantage. Certification (e.g. Green Belt, Black Belt) is an advantage
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills as well as knowledge of process mapping and process management
- You have experience in project management to lead and manage projects from start to finish
- You have experience in delivering training in a multinational context
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to perform complex analysis and turn data into actionable insights
- Digital literacy in ERP processes, TM, WM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
