Vacancy: Sales and Shop Assistant Required A premium outdoor retailer is looking for a Sales Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sales in the firearms and PCP industry to join a high-end brand and growing company. Currently only selling airguns but might expand in future to sell centrefires. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, working on the cash register, customer service, keeping the store clean and tidy and in time assist with the repair of airguns when necessary. It may happen that the employee may work longer hours when required, e.g. Expos, competitions, Events etc. The position is available in Shouthdowns Shopping Centre Centurion. Skills Required Vast knowledge of airguns will be advantageous Airgun repair skills will be advantageous Good at sales Peoples person Duties and Responsibilities Assist clients with any queries in the shop and answer any technical questions Drive sales by selling our products and services to customers and representing the Patriot brand Reaching out to potential leads through a variety of channels such as email, phone or text. Negotiating with leads and using persuasion techniques to overcome objections and landing deals that are beneficial to the company, while also providing customers with optimal value. Submitting and processing orders to ensure customers receive the products or services they request on time. Assist with the day to day running of the shop Handle client queries and complaints Always keep the shop and range neat and tidy Assist with stock takes Handle the cash register - Take payments for products sold. Welcome clients and ensure all paperwork have been completed when purchasing licenses goods. Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure smooth running of sales and day to day activities Keep yourself updated on new products and events in the industry Travel to trade shows and represent the company and sell products when necessary
