Key Responsibilities: - Design & Implement Cloud Solutions: Work across one or more cloud services platforms (AWS, etc.), delivering robust solutions for clients.
- Automation Focus: Drive automation in infrastructure, applications, and operations.
- Infrastructure as Code: Manage and maintain IaC repositories and libraries for consistent deployment practices.
- Well-Architected Review Remediation: Address findings and optimize architectures for cloud best practices.
- Multi-Account AWS Environments: Design and implement scalable, secure, multi-account AWS environments.
- Cloud Migration & Modernization: Lead migrations and modernizations of workloads hosted on-premise or in the cloud.
- Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up to date with cloud technology trends and new service releases.
Required Skills & Experience: - Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 5 years in a Cloud Engineering or DevOps Engineering capacity.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in cloud services , especially AWS.
- Strong experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Solid understanding of databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, Extreme Programming).
- Strong foundation in cloud fundamentals (networking, storage, compute).
Desirable Extras: - Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified (Associate level or higher).
- Migration Experience: Practical experience with cloud migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor).
