As the Financial Manager you will be a key professional responsible for ensuring the financial health of this organization. Conduct accurate data analysis and offer advice to senior management on strategies to maximize profits, securing long-term success for the company.
We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager who will analyze everyday financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans, enabling them to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives. Use your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Duties:
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action
- Maintain effective accounting and bookkeeping systems and procedures - License annually.
- Monthly management Accounts - provisions/accruals/ledger Reconciliations
- Manage and reconcile Accounts Payable as well as Accounts Receivable
- Maiantain various cash books for local and foreign transactions
- Payments and Banking
- Payroll - Oversee the payroll/submission of EMP201 return via E-filing
- VAT submission and reconciliation - Monthly
- Insurance - maintenance and claims
- Year End - Arrange Audit / Key Audit Liaison and assistance
- Prepare Cash Flow - Monthly
- Create and process daily transactions
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Review and process reimbursements
- Identify and reconcile ledger account discrepancies
- Balance Sheet
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager
- Proficient user of finance software
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead a team to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Finance, Accounting or relevant other
- Professional qualification will be considered a plus
