Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of the annual financial statements
- Manage the preparation of the financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports
- Ensure compliance with all acts and matters laid down by the Income Tax Act
- Ensure implementation and management of cash procedures and systems in the branches to act as checks and balances
- Ensure compliance with company as well as IFRS budgetary and reporting requirements
- Assessment of legal contracts
- Manage and comply with statutory principles and reporting
- Create, coordinate and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information system of the company to include budgeting and conservation of assets
- Approval of expenditure and position control documents, company budget, salary reviews, ledger and account maintenance, and data entry
- Submission of budgets and trading results
- Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards
- Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with IFRS
- Analyse cash flow, cost controls and expenses to guide business leaders
- Ensure performance of management is measured against budgets, business plans, industry norms, prior year's performance, etc.
- Support the recruitment and induction of new finance employees
Minimum Requirements
CTA (Complete articles) / CA (SA)
Min 3 years Management experience with at least 1 year in a similar role
SA Citizen / valid work permit
Code B driver’s license and own car
