Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate should possess expertise in various accounting software, including Draftworx/Caseware and Xero. Additionally, proficiency in VAT calculation and submissions, PAYE submissions, and Efiling is essential. The candidate should be SAIPA registered and demonstrate exceptional IT and consultation skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in Draftworx/Caseware for efficient financial reporting and compliance.
- Act as a consultant for Income Tax-related matters, providing guidance and solutions for any disputes or issues.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance with relevant tax laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Provide training and support to junior staff members.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- SAIPA registration is mandatory.
- Proven experience in working with Draftworx/Caseware and Xero.
- Expertise in VAT calculation and submissions, PAYE submissions, and Efiling.
- Exceptional Income Tax skills with the ability to provide consultations and resolve disputes.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
