Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper execution of works through monitoring project progress and teams' performance to deliver the project on time while maintaining the cost and quality parameters to meet Appointing Party’s objectives and requirements.
- Manage and coordinate the overall use of BIM within the Units and for the multidisciplinary Project.
- Manage the Project supply chain to deliver high quality information, data and models to the Appointing Party and ensure the delivery of information to the Appointing Party’s team and supply chain is in line with contract requirements.
- Manage the project BIM Coordinator(s) including input to Quality Assurance and Quality Control of models and drawings.
- Implementation and Administration of Building Information Management (BIM) systems.
- Lead and/or assist on Clash Detection Processes and Reporting, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Review Procedures, Construction Sequencing & Logistics (4D), Cost Estimation & Scheduling (5D), and Asset Management BIM Implementation (COBie).
- Ensure that all Contractor BIM models related to facility operations have all the information gathered during the construction phase related to amenities & facilities, and that easy and clear access to all the required information is available to facilitate maintenance.
- Capability of understanding/applying BIM Appointing Party Requirements (EIR) to the Project and analyze/review/comment the Main Contractor BIM Execution Plan(s) for BIM deliverables production.
- Configuration, Maintenance and Administration of the project CDE (Common Data Environment) to enable the effective management, tracking, and monitoring of deliverables.
- Ensure the implementation of openBIM standards such as (IFC or buildingSMART), and international standards such as (ISO 19650).
- Ensure Contractor follows proper integration of other data sources such as GIS and PMIS with the BIM data to provide Facilities Management, Asset Management and Smart Destination capabilities (where applicable).
- Coordinate BIM issues with supply chain to develop and reinforce standards with the goal of refining Models and deliverables.
- Assist in managing all legal implications of delivering good practice BIM and develop specific BIM protocols and legal frameworks to drive contract creation.
- Lead/Assist in BIM implementation, Standards, workflow & methodologies during supervision/construction, and handover of the projects.
- Identify and detect any potential opportunity/risk for the Project or the Team.
- Actual Hands-on capabilities on Creation of Templates, High Level BIM Families, Shared Parameters, Scheduling and BIM Modelling in general.
- Integrate leading edge BIM applications including Scheduling, Cost, Asset Management, and O&M programs into the BIM models.
- Reporting to the Integrated Design Delivery Sector Lead, Design Manager, Project Director, and Appointing Party representative in a structured manner. Minimum content to include but not limited to: BIM Issue Tracker, Audit Reports from BIM for Clash Detection, in-progress and completed including results Status of Model Development according to trade, work breakdown structure identifier (phasing), cost categories, submittal/shop drawing integration, and project close-out requirements.
- Responsible for the upskilling of Project Team and Modelers.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in any relevant Engineering or Architectural field.
- Autodesk Certification.
- Minimum of 10 years broad experience in design, drafting and BIM multidisciplinary management on large scale projects.
- Mandatory proficiency and Hands-on on Autodesk Revit.
- Mandatory proficiency on Autodesk Navisworks Manage.
- Mandatory proficiency on BIM360.
- Mandatory Proficiency on ACONEX Environment would be of advantage.
- Proficiency on Dynamo scripting tools would be of advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 19650 series.
- Experience working within multi-national/global working environment would be beneficial.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
