Job Description
Our client is seeking a diligent and dynamic Senior Accountant to become a key player in their financial team. This role promises a blend of strategic financial management and hands-on accounting practices, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the company's financial operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Uphold and enforce robust accounting and internal control systems
- Support Regional and Branch Management in all accounting and administrative functions
- Craft monthly financial statements and management reports with precision
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and presentations, even under tight deadlines
- Engage in the financial aspects of operations, demonstrating leadership and initiative
- Guide and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A steadfast commitment to maintaining accurate and timely official records
- A minimum of 3 years of articles or equivalent experience in a similar role, or 5 years without articles
- A Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or an equivalent degree is essential
- Proficiency in computer literacy and familiarity with K8 systems is advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
