FINANCE MANAGER (CIMA) - ZAR 1 MILLION pa - STELLENBOSCH SURROUNDS
Outstanding opportunity for a CIMA qualified, costing-model-wizard with a flair for automation and business efficiency optimisation to join a well established and market leading manufacturing business as Finance Manager.

ROLE:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure import and export compliance.
- Manage the Asset Register.
- Strong Forex experience and maintain banking relationships.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and banking relationships.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax and statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and cost control measures.
- Review discrepancies around costing and conduct operational variance analysis.
- Assist operations in identifying gaps and driving performance.
- Prepare monthly P&L’s and management reports.
- Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costings.
- Review and recommend opportunities to reduce expenditure and optimize efficiencies.
- Lead the Finance Team
- Oversee the IT function of the Company.
Requirements
- ACMA, CGMA / CIMA Complete or near complete
- Bachelors and Honors Degrees in Finance
- Completed articles
- 5+ years in Manufacturing
- Must have experience with implementing structure, documenting processes with SOP's and more efficient, streamlined systems
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager in manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Pastel.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a finance team.
