We are looking for a Site Manager with a minimum of 5 years of road construction experience or more than 3 years of road rehabilitation experience on projects of a similar nature.
Minimum Requirements and KPA’s
- Diploma/BTech in civil engineering.
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer, Technologist, or Technician.
- Or registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager or Professional Construction Manager.
- Own vehicle will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
- Ability to manage project activities simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
- Knowledge of the civil engineering code requirements and scheduling methods.
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
- Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to the contracts manager.
- Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.
- Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
