Our Head Office Data Protection Team is looking for a driven and proactive individual. You will have excellent knowledge of key privacy legislation and regulations including the GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations, with a track record of implementing compliant business solutions.
You will be recognised as a Subject Matter Expert in providing advice and guidance to all areas of the business in relation to privacy and data protection. You will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to engage key stakeholders to build strong relationships. You will effectively influence and challenge others to ensure the best outcome is achieved.

What you'll do - Provide advice and guidance to the business to ensure processes and procedures comply with data protection and privacy legislation
- Engage with Project Managers to enable compliant solutions and meet internal compliance management requirements
- Ensure Contracts and Data Processing Agreements are in place when onboarding new Suppliers
- Identify and mitigate potential compliance risks through audits and project engagement, presenting to key stakeholders as required
- Assist the Team with responses to Data Subject Access Requests and in the event of a Data Breach
- Deliver adhoc and bespoke training needs to the business, support awareness and update training material
- Liaise with our international colleagues in Germany regarding group-wide data processing activities
- Keep up to date with changes in data protection law and regulations
- Directly report to the Head of Data Protection and Data Protection Officer
What you'll need - Excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
- The ability to manage multiple complex tasks concurrently within tight deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of presenting to senior management
- Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- To be a Data Privacy expert , with experience of advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- German language desirable, but not essential
