Job Description A client in freight and logistics is looking for a PTP Team Lead to join their dynamic finance shared service. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in payables and procurement processes. They will be required to use functional knowledge to apply relevant and appropriate levels of judgement and decision making. his is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and is willing to go the extra mile. The key responsibilities for this role will include: The payables specialist has the expertise in Procure to Pay processes, including Invoice Processing, Payments and vendor master data processes Manage and support team Execute in conjunction with Shared Service Centre team the strategy for payable process Review of supplier ledger and ensuring open debit items are being utilised on a timely basis before moving on the ageing bracket Support compliance to policies, procedures and SOPs for payables process Timely review of full supplier statement reconciliations Review of transaction queue and resolve issues on unprocessed queue with providing relevant GL codes for processing where necessary Work directly with the service providers to identify improvement opportunities As you will be responsible for hitting the ground running extensive experience is essential. You will also be hands-on involved with the department.
