Group Reporting Specialist (CA(SA)) to
permanently join their finance team. This is a key role for a driven and detail-oriented professional who will play a vital part in
ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective consolidation within the group. Duties: - Lead the consolidation of group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and group policies.
- Ensure accurate and compliant reporting under IFRS 10 (Consolidation), IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts), and IFRS 7 (Financial Instruments).
- Analyze and interpret financial instruments, ensuring proper reporting and disclosure of relevant transactions.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, providing insights into financial performance, trends, and variances for senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure all necessary documentation and reports are provided in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems across the group.
Qualifications & skills: - CA(SA) qualification with 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Preferably from a financial services background, with specific exposure to insurance or banking.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with IFRS 10 (Consolidation), IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts), and IFRS 7 (Financial Instruments).
- Experience in analyzing financial instruments, including derivatives, investments, and other complex financial products.
- Proven ability to prepare and consolidate financial statements at a group level.
