Financial Manager and help energize their financial journey!
As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the below: - Take responsibility for financial management and reporting of transactional accounting across working capital cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Lead and manage the full accounts payable function, including analysis, reconciliations, risk management, ensuring suppliers are paid on time, and driving the current age analysis.
- Ensure effective accounts receivable processes by managing analysis, reconciliations, risk management and compliance with the allowance for doubtful accounts policy.
- Oversee the processing of restaurant sales and the full revenue accounting process.
- Manage the accounts payable function to meet financial reporting timelines, ensuring accurate supplier account reconciliations and timely payments, with ownership of vendor management processes.
- Lead the accounts receivable function to ensure accurate processing and reconciliation of sales and bank transactions, and manage franchisee and non-franchisee billings.
- Manage AR collection processes and drive adherence to credit risk management policies while minimizing financial losses in AP processes.
- Continuously optimize financial systems and processes related to AP and AR functions and adopt a proactive approach to enhance internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and franchisees to foster relationships and achieve strategic objectives.
- Analyze the AP and AR age analysis reports to ensure timely and accurate accounting processes.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams while making decisions aligned with financial authority and reporting deadlines.
- Stay agile in response to changes in the business environment, including new sales channels and technologies, while seeking efficiencies in AP and AR processes.
Job Experience and Skills Required: - Completed BComin Accounting and related field.
- Completed Articles are a must.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
