Position Title: Financial Reporting Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead our financial reporting function and ensure accuracy, compliance, and insightfulness in our financial disclosures. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and improving our financial reporting processes, working with cross-functional teams, and providing high-quality financial data to support business decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate the consolidation of financial results and present comprehensive financial reports to management, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Manage all internal and external reporting timelines and requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Audit & Regulatory Liaison:
- Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews, addressing queries and ensuring compliance.
- Ensure all regulatory and tax submissions are completed accurately and on time, in line with current legislation.
- Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting systems and streamline processes for greater efficiency.
- Financial Analysis & Insights:
- Provide insightful analysis of financial results, identifying key trends and variances.
- Support senior management with financial insights to inform strategic planning, risk assessment, and corporate decision-making.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, coach, and develop the financial reporting team to ensure strong performance, engagement, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and understanding of financial data and processes.
Qualifications & Skills Required: - CA(SA) qualification (required).
- Minimum 2-3 of experience in financial reporting, preferably in Manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant reporting standards.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and audit procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (experience with (specific software, if relevant) is advantageous).
