In this role, you will manage warehouse operations, from maintaining a clean and organised environment to overseeing inventory levels, stock counts, and corrective action on aged stock. You will spearhead distribution and logistics, including transport management, fleet optimisation, and achieving On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery target. Additionally, you will lead supply chain projects, collaborate with sales teams, and implement innovative process improvements to meet organisational goals.
What will you need to qualify for this role? Were looking for a Warehouse and Distribution Manager with a Grade 12 certificate with mathematics and accountancy as passed subjects, complemented by a degree in Supply Chain or Logistics. Additionally you will need 8-10 years of experience in warehouse and distribution management within a large organisation. Proficiency in SAP, Syspro, ClickView, Eco Time, VIP, and advanced Excel skills are also required. This manufacturer values strong leadership, people management expertise, and the ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple projects, as well as proven experience in inventory management, fleet management, and optimising supply chain processes.
