Main Purpose:
• Responsible for educating scripting doctors on specific products
• Displace the competitors using clinical evidence
• Implement the marketing strategy on the brand
• Make appointments, and call timeously on the doctor
• Increase product market shares
• Work closely with the sales counterpart to ensure availability
Key Performance Area:
• Achieve 9 calls per day
• Daily appointment ratio of 5% or more
• Customer split (specialist and GP split)
• Visit 90% of customers every cycle (6 weeks)
• Grade customers (80% of customers either A) most important doctors, B) second most important doctors, or C) additional doctors
• Day trips cannot exceed 120km radius
• Regular updates on products
• Achieve 85% minimum on product assessment
• Continuous product training
• Complete weekly planners, expenses, and plan country trips
• Daily completion of calls with comments on Repwise
• Other ad-hoc Smartsheets and reports
• Analyse data on Power BI and define plans per customer
• Script target achieved for each product
• Achieve strategy for the brand
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree within the medical field (BSc)
• Computer literate
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
• Able to work under pressure
• Strong minded
• Deadline driven
• Self-disciplined
• Good time management skills
• Planning and organising
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to present a professional image
• Driver’s license and car are required
• The role-holder will travel 90% of their time on a mixture of planned and ad-hoc business travel
• Staying away from home on a regular basis
Quality Standards:
• Achieve 9 calls per day
• Daily appointment ration of 75% a day
• Customer split GP and Specialists daily
• Achieve minimum of 85% on product assessments on a quarterly basis
• Accurate, comprehensive, and timeous submission of administrative documents
• Market share target achieved for each product
