We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to oversee safety protocols during electrical and mechanical installations at the site of our client's project.
The Safety Officer will ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, contributing to a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
This will be a 4-month contract for the duration of the Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures on-site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments related to electrical and mechanical installations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Provide safety training and guidance to project personnel.
- Ensure all workers are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation, including incident reports and safety audits.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure safety considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Report any safety incidents or concerns to management promptly.
- Stay updated on safety regulations and industry standards related to electrical and mechanical work.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to electrical and mechanical installations.
