Job Description
Leading Property and Facilities Management company is seeking a well qualified Financial Manager who has managed a large team of +- 15 people. You must have worked on MDA/MRI.
Responsibilities
- Full function hands on accounting.
- Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to execute on the Shareholders Objectives
- Manage a diverse financial team Implement financial plans to drive growth and maintain financial health
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the companys legality and business ethics
- Advise on business planning and decision making
- Manage risks to achievement of company objectives
- Oversee the maintenance of financial records and submission of statutory returns
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of applicable legislation and accounting requirements that impact company business
- Ensure that financial systems, records and internal controls are in place to produce accurate and reliable financial reports
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of monthly and annual financial reports
Qualifications
- BCom Accounting + Articles
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years Property experience and managed a team of +15 people
- MDA or MRI system essential
- Working knowledge of IFRS and Caseware
- Sound understanding of the Acts and Regulations governing the company business
- Excellent oral and written communications abilities
