RS Recruitment Services is assisting a leading organisation in the RETAIL HARDWARE industry to recruit a REGIONAL IT MANGER to be based at their offices in PORT ELIZABETH, EASTERN CAPE . Basic R45k + car allowance R21k + medical aid and provident fund benefits.
OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND IS PART OF A GROUP OF 350 RETAIL STORES ACROSS SOUTHERN AFRICA.
The purpose of this position is to implement and manage the IT retail systems in line with IT strategy by providing leadership and guidance in terms of IT infrastructure and provide value added support in applicable business areas.
Applicants should have/be the following:
MCSE or similar tertiary IT qualification mandatory
Retail systems qualification (preferably IQ Enterprise)
Working knowledge of accounting
5 years experience in hardware, Network, Desktop, Infrastructure support
5 years experience in customer support
2 years experience POS system support
2 years experience accounting /Financial / System support
Customer service
Negotiation skills
Interpersonal Management skills
Project management skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Implement & drive group driven retail systems projects
Drive and manage the conversion of stores to current IQ versions, as well as implementing New IQ modules
Conduct hardware and systems need analyses, proposals and upgrades
Ensure adherence to minimum hardware standards and retail systems best practice and standards
Provide in-store systems financial and business management guidance & support
Innovate & provide leadership to the business
To provide support assistance to the IT Helpdesk
Regular, proactive technical, training and systems management and maintenance visits at retail
Build relationships at retail & to be the interface between IT and retail
Remuneration:
