Our client is searching for a Strategic Operations Specialist for their BANK team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of all operational processes within the Bank Collections team, including client-specific programs, bank-specific programs and internal processes on how they all link together.
- Extensive knowledge of how Debit Orders work and the different rules per collection method (DebiCheck and EFT Debit Orders)
- Identifying any issues or potential upgrades in the process and communicating the changes and fixes to needed developers.
- Designing new programs to enhance the process and minimizing manual intervention.
- Liaising with the clients on any specific business rules changes for potential increase in collection success.
- Writing User Requirements and Specifications on the changes and analyzing how any changes may impact or improve the current process.
- Mapping existing processes to identify optimization opportunities.
- Mapping new processes to ensure that the correct process is followed by the developers as expected by business operations.
- Managing the developers’ priorities.
- Assisting with End-to-End testing of changes.
- Assisting operational staff in data queries and checks to ensure the clients’ business rules are applied correctly before sending transactions to the bank.
- Processing Bank Response files.
- Extracting and compiling statistics and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Must haves:
- Strong in SQL. Non-negotiable
- Strong in processes
- Middle person between DEVS and Team. Someone who will be able to translate Operations requirements to technical people and vice versa
- Strong problem-solving skills.
