Job Description: Estimator / Demand & Forecast Planner
We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Demand & Forecast Planner. To excel in this role, you should be analytical, proficient in estimating software (such as Quick Easy), and have strong communication skills. A solid understanding of forecasting and advanced mathematical concepts is required.
The role also includes demand and forecast planning, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations. You will estimate product demand, analyse inventory flow, and develop forecast models, while also managing inventory software when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate costings to customers and internal teams.
- Develop forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Assist with risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Improve demand forecast accuracy through analysis and solutions.
- Communicate forecasts and inventory estimates to management.
- Monitor and report changes in sales forecasts and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast updates.
- Address demand-related issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years' experience in demand planning or forecasting.
- Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting practices.
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
