We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our online stores (Takealot, Amazon, OneDayOnly and Makro Marketplace), ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience. This role involves various tasks related to product listings, order and return processing, customer support, and overall e-commerce optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Product Management:
- Create and update product listings with accurate and compelling descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock outs and overstock situations.
- Order Processing:
- Process online orders promptly and accurately, ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate and manage order shipments and returns efficiently.
- Address any order-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Customer Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely and helpful information.
- Handle customer complaints or issues, striving for positive resolutions.
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Website Maintenance:
- Regularly update and maintain the e-commerce websites, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
- Work with API to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze e-commerce performance metrics.
- Generate regular reports on sales, customer behavior, and other relevant KPIs.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing the online shopping experience.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Matric Certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or a similar role is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and content management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with digital marketing.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Driver's Licence.
- Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service.
