Our client in the Agricultural / Citrus sector is currently looking to employ a Maintenance Artisan (Millwright / Electrician) to add to their team based in Kirkwood.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 / N3 & recognized trade tested certificate in the Millwright / Electrician discipline.
- At least 5 years’ appropriate experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Driver’s license.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Ensure adherence to health and safety, environment, quality and housekeeping.
- Execute planned and preventative maintenance in accordance with the operations schedule.
- Breakdown work and fault finding (electrical, Mechanical and PLC’s).
- Candidate will be expected to have the ability to plan his/her work and work under pressure.
- Apply fault-finding techniques, and repair equipment defects.
- Clean, maintain and repair mechanical parts, components and equipment as directed by the maintenance manager.
- Conduct regular plant inspections as to GMR regulations.
- Carry out workshop fabrication, equipment assembly and installation and the maintaining thereof.
- Off season planning of needs to look at for the pack house.
- Attain and maintain relevant licenses and authorizations required to execute allocated duties e.g. working at heights.
- Work in full compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Able to complete job cards and GMR inspections documentation weekly / quarterly.
