An estate located in the Stellenbosch region is seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to join their dynamic team. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, including food & beverage outlets, events, and guest services.
- Ensure smooth coordination of F&B events, from planning and setup to execution and closure.
- Manage and motivate staff to provide exceptional service, maintaining the estate's high standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling requests, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
- Support operational logistics, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for service improvements and revenue growth.
- Assist with training and developing staff to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections of the estate’s facilities, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and adherence to operational standards.
Requirements:
- SA Citizen.
- Proven, recent experience as a Duty Manager in a luxury estate or 4/5* hotel.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with golf course operations and/or F&B events will be highly advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
