An established clothing business, specializing in womenswear is looking for a young, passionate and hardworking individual to take on the role of a CAD Artist to work with our marketing & merchandising department.
Desired Experience & Qualification :
- National Diploma : Fashion OR Graphic Design
- Good communication / presentation & Trend research skills
- Excellent CAD design skills & proficient in software’s such as Lectra Kaledo & Adobe Illustrator.
Duties & responsibilities :
- Receiving brief sheets and translating brief requirements into CAD drawings according to customer specs to proceed to bulk production.
- Analysing sample requirements.
- Liaising with merchandisers regarding trims & fabric requirement.
- Creating TechPacks (CAD/Sample specification sheets)
- Sending sample request information to pattern & sample maker.
- Liaising with marketing team on new fashion trends (Colour / style / prints)
- Creating a repeat print & amending existing print designs & colours.
- Design & develop storyboards & presentations for marketing meetings.
