Role Overview:
A career opportunity has arisen in the Admin Milling Department – Premier CDC Lords View – Depot. The position is responsible to ensure the efficient and accurate management of inventory, implementation of controls and processes for finished goods, raw material and packaging material.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ability to control stock and perform full stock-taking procedures
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies on the system and floor.
- Ensure timely and efficient stock movement by following the FIFO (first in first out) process.
- Optimize storage capacity.
- Minimize stock losses and damages.
- Identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory accuracy, all stock put away gets done on time and into the correct locations.
- Inventory levels, monitor buffers to prevent an oversupply on stock in the warehouse.
- Monitor and managing short dated and expired stock.
- Participation and coordination of monthly stock counts.
- Managing physical stock to ensure correct product code, batch number and best before dates are on the products.
- Ensure all pallets in racking have correct bin cards and information recorded correctly.
- Creating of Weekly / Monthly reports on excel for management.
Qualification Requirements
- Matric with Accountancy
- Accounting Certificate or any Inventory qualifications an advantage
Experience Requirements
- Experience in an FMCG environment
- 3 – 5 years’ stock control experience

Other Requirements
