Graduate Mechanical Engineer- Building Services
We are currently recruiting Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary design teams across South Africa working on projects worldwide.
Designing and delivering mechanical engineering solutions from concept through to implementation stage for a variety of projects.
You will assist and be involved with the following:
- The design of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services.
- Calculating airside and water-side calculations for designing building systems.
- Heating and cooling load analysis.
- Producing project related correspondence and reports.
- Work with people from other disciplines to gain knowledge on new subjects.

Working across multiple sectors, in doing this you will gain a broad range of experience quickly.

Required Skills and Abilities
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering .
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and demonstrate an ability to learn new software within a working environment that utilizes 3D design and digital automation.
- Enthusiasm for a career in building design, underpinned through a knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering.
- Organized approach to planning work and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate a creative and inquisitive approach to problem solving and seek to improve existing ways of working, by finding efficiencies in processes.
- The aptitude to work on your own initiative and be proactive.
- Any recognizable building services mechanical engineering experience will be an advantage.
You should be able to start this opportunity in February 2025 or the closest date agreed.
You must hold valid permission to work and live in South Africa i.e. SA citizenship or Permanent Residency.
