Scope of the role
A creative individual who loves writing (in English; ability to write in vernacular advantageous); ability to write across traditional and digital platforms.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Develop and execute outstanding work across ATL/BT/Social and Digital.
- Understand the client’s strategy and business context, and always aim to do work that performs.
- Work closely with multi-disciplined team members to generate concepts.
- Work collaboratively with integrated partners under the direction of the CD/ECD.
- On a daily basis, report and update the status of jobs and issues to the CD/ECD.
- Present concepts both internally and to clients.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with the team, partners, and clients.
- Timely execution of work against scheduled deadlines by the Traffic Manager.
- Ability to work on multiple campaigns at any given time.
- Cast actors for TV, content, radio, and listen to voice and video auditions.
- Write and brief production documents to the relevant production departments.
- Contribute to proactivity and innovative thinking on brands within the portfolio.
- Attend reviews.
- Keep abreast of advertising trends within industry best practices.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Copywriting / Advertising.
- A good command of the English language (both verbal and written).
- Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on multiple briefs at any given time).
- Strong presentation skills.
- An eye-catching portfolio detailing ATL / BTL / Digital (TTL).
