Cape Town. National Retail Chain is looking for a motivated and experienced Area Manager to take charge of 6 Cape Town stores and 5 stores in KZN. A tertiary qualification, at least 5 years of retail experience in FMCG, and solid management experience are required.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and promote better services to customers at all times.
- Control and monitor store fixtures.
- Monitor stores' monthly sales and growth.
- Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Retail Manager.
- Ensure that all planned products are ordered and displayed in all Cape Town stores.
- Responsible for ordering and execution of all seasonal and everyday stock.
- Evaluate and analyse allocated stores' monthly sales and growth in accordance with monthly targets.
- Address complaints and resolve problems within all stores as required.
- Advise Retail Manager of concerns relating to operational issues and general correspondence.
- Assist in the annual stock take in all stores when required.
- Ensure that general correspondence is adhered to.
- Manage health and safety and maintenance of all Cape Town stores.
