We have an amazing opportunity for an IR Coordinator to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. The IR Coordinator will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of employment law and best practices in industrial relations. This role requires providing support to management and HR Team across the country, assisting with a variety of IR-related queries and issues. The Coordinator will serve as a key resource, offering expert guidance and facilitating effective communication to ensure compliance and promote a positive workplace environment.

You Bring:
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an IR/ HR environment.
- Knowledgeable in Labour Legislation (EE Act, BCEA, Labour Relations).
- A Valid Driver’s Licence.
A Bonus To Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification.
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
- Scheduling of hearings nationally and ensuring all parties are informed.
- Follow up on the outcome of hearings with Supplier and the relevant manager.
- Drafting of Mitigating and Aggravating circumstances.
- Drafting disciplinary actions nationally via centralized IR portal.
- Ensure accuracy of all IR documents and maintain records.
- Prepare detailed written advice and reports on complex issues.
- Update IR spreadsheets and capture accurate records of IR matters.
- Maintain good support relationships with Line Managers and HR Team.
- Manage the IR Inbox and ensure timely responses.
- Conduct pre-hearing investigations and assist Senior IR team as needed.
