Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly Management accounts, Management reports, profit forecast, profit estimates, etc. in accordance with the Financial Director requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Preparation of financial statements of the company and group subsidiaries.
- Working on Ad hoc Projects.
- Authorization of journals and reconciliations.
- Investigation of unusual transactions.
- Releasing of local and forex payments.
- Implementation and maintenance of strong internal control to ensure compliance with the relevant VAT and SARB regulations.
- Coordination, planning, and preparation of the annual budget.
- Coordination, planning, and preparation of the year-end accounting packs and tax packs.
- Add value through enhanced information delivery through development of the ERP system.
- Review business processes (SOPs) when required and providing support and advice thereof.
- Carry out internal Audits and Follow Up Audits.
- Proficiency in Oracle R12 is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite is essential.
- Hyperion/FDM and GL-WAND is an advantage.
