Role: Clinical Specialist
Therapy Area: Gynaecology - product portfolio covers HPV infection, vaginal health, fertility and menopause.

Ideal Candidate Location: Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a young Spanish pharmaceutical company developing and marketing innovative products for women's health. The company is entering the UK market and is looking for a motivated and experienced sales specialist to cultivate a prescriber base among NHS and private clinicians in the specified area.
In this role you will:
- Promote the company's innovative products for HPV infection, vaginal health, fertility and menopause.
- Identify and approach potential prescribers and advocates for the company's products among gynaecologists, GPs with special interest in gynaecology, and specialist nurses in the specified area. Target clinicians include both NHS and private clinicians.
- Provide scientific information and messages to help clinicians select the right patients and prescribe the company's products.
- Collect and respond to prescriber feedback.
- Gather market information and help improve the marketing approach of the company's products.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical or Pharmaceutical subject.
ABPI qualification.
Full UK driver's licence.
Person Experience Required
At least five years of experience in a UK pharmaceutical selling role is essential.
Strong customer contacts and relationships with healthcare professionals related to Gynaecology, including Hospital Specialists, GPs with Special Interest, Specialist Nurses and Pharmacy is essential.
Experience with infectious disease, immunology, menopause and reproductive health products is preferred.
Experience of developing and implementing advocacy strategies and tactics in the NHS and private healthcare market.
Good understanding of biology and pharmacology; ability to deliver scientific messages accurately and effectively.
Capable of account prioritisation, prescriber analysis, promotional message planning and delivery, closure and prescription monitoring.
Self-starter: ability to deliver results with limited supervisor support.
Highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
