The Ce-I continues to provide Enterprise Architect strategic planning, innovation, and good governance support services to the province.
Ce-I follows the approach below in order to achieve its strategic goal enablement (top down), this approach should be followed by the successful bidder in delivery the services:
- Understanding the strategic goals and the support business architecture.
- Obtaining an understanding of how our information and data assets will be leveraged.
- Determine the application landscape and roadmap required.
- Identify the in place and required technology components.
- Opportunity identification (bottom up) shall be facilitated through portfolio management activities such as Application Portfolio Management (APM) where Applications are analysed, categorised, classified, and managed through their lifecycle.
- Departmental agility, resilience and enablement will be supported by having timeous and relevant information sets on which to act form basis for a wide variety of decisions making.
- Develop a data strategy and management models.
- Data modelling and integration mapping.
- Design and guide data governance and standards.
- Business capability and data mapping.
- Guide data quality and performance improvement solutions.
- Data interoperability and integration design.
- Contribute to EA framework and governance.
Requirements
- NQF 6 or higher tertiary qualifications.
- Must have a valid (not expired) IT architecture certificate.
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) v9 or later certification is preferred but would not be detrimental to the bidder, should the resource not have a TOGAF certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Solution Architect.
