We are looking for a motivated PHP developer with strong problem solving skills to join our team. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the on-going software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Requirements
- Good understanding of responsive web design and a mobile first approach to development
- Strong portfolio of work
- Clean coding methods
- Must be able to code own responsive template from PSD
- Troubleshoot, test, maintain the core product software & databases
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- A strong visual eye and understanding of design concepts
- Perspective on frontend (and backend) technologies and their impact on the design process
- Converting custom designs to code for WordPress
- Frontend and backend (if possible) coding
- Carrying out maintenance on existing WordPress sites
- You have experience with modern web programming languages
- Passionate about learning and continuous improvement
- Up-to-date with technology
- Solid troubleshooting skills
Brownie Points

- Project Management
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator
- Understanding of different CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and Umbraco
- You have an appreciation for testing and automation

Terms of Contract
- 8:00 to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The schedule is ‘deadline-driven’ i.e. on occasions when deadlines are tight, work may be required outside these hours
- 15 working days paid leave per annum
- Employment will be subject to an initial 5-month trial period whereby performance will be appraised and reviewed
