We are looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The incumbent will be required to have strong system integration experience with a focus on business skills and be responsible for consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Review of business requirements to understand the business and stakeholder expectations.
- Revision of architectural documentation to understand the solution landscape within the technical architecture.
- Write and review recommendations based on verified and validated requirements.
- Write, review and present solution documentation.
- Implementation of continuous improvement strategies and best practices.
- Write, review and present epic, feature, user stories, business processes and process flows.
- Write, review and present project documentation including (but not limited to) Functional Design Specification, Recommendation Documentation, Detail Design Documentation, API Documentation. Strong modelling skills required with great attention to detail.
- Good understanding of the business capability/user journey, wider organizational goals, and desired product business outcomes.
- Analysis of SOAP and REST service specifications.
- Creation of REST Swaggers.
- Testing of developed solutions.
- Knowledge of HP Quality Centre to manage and monitor defects.
- Professional conduct at client, developing professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Agile software development environment and methods, e.g., Scrum and Kanban.
- User and technical acceptance test design, execution, and validation.
- Technical planning experience with the development team and overseeing the delivery.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Preferably a software development background.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and modelling tools (draw.io, Enterprise Architecture, etc.).
- Co-ordinate activities with the development team and other teams regarding interfaces.
- Functional requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring business requirements and expectations are met, and that all possible scenarios are covered.
- Conduct functional specification walkthroughs with developers and monitor the development progress in order to meet deadlines.
- Facilitate Client-walkthroughs JAD sessions and sign-off of Functional Specification with business owners to ensure business requirements have been met.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field.
- A total of at least six years relevant work experience, of which at least two or more years is in supporting successful delivery in Business Analysis (or equivalent role) across full product lifecycles, from MVP to marketable products in iterations, including support transition.
- Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
