A well-regarded dining establishment within a hotel chain is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager with 7-10 years relevant experience. The perfect candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement budgets.
- Ensure correct handling procedures to minimize china and glassware breakage and food waste.
- Implement and monitor consistency of food and beverage policies and procedures.
- Manage physical inventory.
- Assist in planning and implementing procedures for special club events and banquet functions.
- Ensure that all health, hygiene and safety standards are consistently met.
- Maintain appearance, upkeep and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment and facilities.
- Hire, train and supervise subordinates within the beverage department.
- Oversee recruitment of staff in housekeeping department.
- Audit monthly payroll for beverage and housekeeping department.
- Greet guests and oversee actual service on a regular basis to ensure consistency of service.
- Address member and guest complaints.
- Develop ongoing professional development and training programs for service and bar production/service personnel.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in similar role within the Hospitality industry - Restaurant Manager / Food and Beverage Manager.
- Three-year hospitality or club management qualification beneficial but not essential.
