Marketing Manager
Client based in Pinetown, in the chemical industry is looking for a Marketing Manager.
Sales and Marketing Responsibilities
- Obtain information from Sales Representatives, Customers, and other data sourcing agents to compile comprehensive reports regarding product performance.
- Analysing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
- Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
- Creating a wide range of different marketing materials.
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
- Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
- Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
- Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
- Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
- Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
- Developing the marketing strategy for the relevant Target Market in line with company objectives.
- Managing all marketing for the relevant Target Market and activities within the marketing department.
Brand Awareness Responsibilities
- Planning of customer functions and golf days.
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
- Maintain company website with relevant information.
- Upload relevant reports, press releases, and newsworthy items on a regular basis.
- Design, develop, and update marketing material such as brochures, flyers, web pages, merchandising as and when required.
- Assist with and improve product packaging with regards to promotional marketing.
- Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
Reports Responsibilities
- Ensure action plan by the relevant Manager is kept updated and feedback given on a regular basis.
- Ensure internal surveys are conducted and the reports sent through to the relevant manager.
- Ensure company Magazine is distributed on a quarterly basis.
General Responsibilities
- To ensure that a correct and proper image of the Company is maintained at all times.
- Undertakes such additional duties which may from time to time be assigned to the Employee in the discharge of his/her duties.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Customer service experience.
- Computer skills.
- Experience in promoting brand awareness.
- 5-10 years Marketing Experience.
- Tertiary Sales or Marketing qualification.
- Matric.
- NQF 4 Qualification.
Location: Pinetown
Salary: R35 000 - R45 000 CTC per month
