- Manage a property portfolio consisting of 20+ residential units and 5 retail spaces, overseeing the full lease cycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and lease agreements.
- Conduct regular property inspections and maintenance to uphold tenant satisfaction and preserve property value.
- Optimize rental income by setting appropriate rental rates, conducting market research, and minimizing vacancies.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Interface with the Body Corporate and relevant stakeholders to address property-related matters.
- Market available properties and secure new tenants.
- Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance to management.
- Supervise and support two reporters, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to financial and legal requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property management, preferably in the Cape Town region
- Familiarity with rental management practices and regulations
- Proven track record of successfully managing property portfolios and achieving growth targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in dealing with commercial properties is an advantage
