Engineering Planner
RPO Recruitment's client, a leading company in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking an Engineering Planner to join their team. The Engineering Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling and planning of engineering activities within the organization. As the Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed schedules for engineering projects and maintenance activities. You will work closely with the engineering team, production team, and other stakeholders to ensure that scheduled activities are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities: - Create and maintain detailed schedules for engineering projects and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather necessary information and resources for scheduling purposes.
- Monitor the progress of scheduled activities and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time completion.
- Identify and address scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Generate reports and provide regular updates on the status of scheduled activities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize the scheduling process and improve overall efficiency.
- Provide input and recommendations for process improvements and enhancements.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Millwright Trade Test.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering planning or scheduling role, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in scheduling software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Benefits: - Salary: R300K/yr - R340K/yr, salary negotiable.
