Duties & Responsibilities
- Matric
- Proven 15 Years experience as a Financial and Human Resources Manager
- Proficient use of financial software (Pastel Partner, Pastel Evolution and Payspace)
- Developing and implementing Human Resource strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall company strategy
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports and assessing the financial health of the company
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
- Manage the preparation of the company’s annual budget
- Supervise the preparation of monthly account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with statutory and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
- Advise executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances
- Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts
- Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts
- Monitor and review all records of company assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions
- Liaise with the company auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of the company finances is maintained
- Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities
