Our client, an established brand in the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) industry, has an opportunity available for a Branch Manager to join their team based near Lynwood, Pretoria. This company imports and distributes international PPE brands to a growing client base in the industrial, manufacturing, and mining industries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Tertiary education would be beneficial
- Experience in the PPE industry would be advantageous; alternate industries to consider include manufacturing, power tools, and industrial
- Good understanding of merchandising
- Retail experience
- Great people skills as this is a customer-centric role
- Own car is required for client visits
Job Description: - Report directly to the GM
- Manage the day-to-day operations
- Responsible for procurement
- Manage internal sales
- Support external sales
- Manage the warehouse
- Reporting to head office
- Visit existing clients and new clients to grow customer base and maintain happy customers
- Implementation of procedures and controls
- Accountable and responsible for the region's retail store
- Responsible for branch HR (supported by Head Office)
- Build knowledge of trends in the PPE industry
- Implement and drive company vision and focus
- Build and mentor an effective team (15 people)
Package & Remuneration
R 420 000 - R 600 000 - Annually
