Are you a process focused Litigation Specialist with solid knowledge of Contract interpretation?
We require your strong financial acumen within the legal framework for our very well established client in the renewable sector.
Bachelors’ Law degree or similar essential.
We require three to four years’ experience to assist the Asset Management Team using your experience in project finance or banking and finance.

- Matric, bachelor’s degree in law
- Three to four years’ PQE in a similar role in project finance or banking and finance
- Renewable energy/ IPP / Construction industry experience advantageous
- Dispute management and litigation experience advantageous
- Corporate and commercial experience advantageous
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Good negotiation and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task
- Good investigation capabilities
- Commercially and solutions driven
- Flexible, with positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
DUTIES - Advising on and implementing various Project and Finance contracts (such as CTAs, PPAs, IAs, SHAs and MSAs).
- In conjunction with the Project Financial Controllers, management of Financing and Project contracts and overseeing achievement of contractual deliverables.
- Drafting and advising on formal notices and legal correspondence.
- Coordination of legal processes within Projects, as may be required.
- In case of claims, supporting the investigation of claims and the collection of evidence permissible under Project and Finance agreements.
- Managing litigation and arbitration proceedings related to the Project and Finance contracts.
Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
