We’re in search of a natural-born leader to fill the role of a Sales General Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and driving the company’s growth through strategic planning, leadership, and execution. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales management and the ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving sales targets.
Objectives:
- Develop strategic plan for optimized productivity
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
- Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
- Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives
- Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expenses effectively to optimize resource allocation and maximize ROI.
- Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Lead and motivate the New Business team to consistently meet or exceed targets and KPIs
Requirements:
- Qualified and registered Debt Counsellor
- Call Centre leadership experience
- Management Experience
- Experience in conducting performance evaluations
- Working knowledge of human-resources processes
