Based in Cape Town, this Finance Controller CONTRACT opportunity offers between R40K – R50K pm.

The Role:
As Finance Controller you will drive profitability and growth by assisting and guiding managers on the financial implications of business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts for business units.
Analyze monthly performance, identifying key variances against budget and forecast.
Prepare financial reports, commentaries, and conduct internal audits.
Facilitate management meetings to discuss cluster performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Conduct half-year and year-end financial closing, including reconciliation of headcounts.
Translate complex financial data for nonfinancial stakeholders, including IT professionals.
Improve financial processes and controls, recommending actions for cost efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage provisions, accruals, and perform month-end journal entries.
Minimum Requirements:
• Qualifications: Honours in Finance, CTA preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant finance experience within IT/Technology or the financial services industry.
• SAP 4 Hana experience.
• Strong financial acumen with advanced Excel skills and a solid understanding of IT-related financial concepts.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to financial problem-solving.
