Job Requirements: Education: - Matric
- Tertiary Education (including Diplomas, Certificates, and Degrees)
- NQF 4 Supervisory Management Qualification
- Certificate in Quality Control
Experience: - Minimum 8 years experience in the manufacturing industry
Competencies: Knowledge: - Technical knowledge of the process, inclusive of equipment, raw materials, etc.
- Relevant quality system and certification as required

Decision Making: - Responsible for quality-related issues linked to colour and product defects.
Responsibilities: Quality Control Planning - Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain quality control records, including documentation of test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken.
Quality Control Inspection - Apply the company's quality principles and standards.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Conduct regular inspections of production processes, products, and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and document non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
Personnel Management - Responsible for leading, motivating, training, and managing subordinates.
- Comply with and maintain all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) in relation to the Company's FSMS (Food Safety Management System).
Self-Development and Growth - Realistically assess own strengths and development areas and undertake actions to address weaknesses.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards and implement changes as required.
General - Ensure the team knows what to do and where to find information if you are not available.
