TLNS Electrical and Railway Signalling (Pty) Ltd is seeking for qualified Electricians with passion and willing to grow within an organization. Applicants must reside around Germiston, East Rand Region or willing to relocate and ready for travelling. Experience Required
• At least 2 years’ experience in the electrical industry after receiving Electrical Trade Test Certificate.
Qualification requirements
• Must have N6, Electrical Trade Test Certificate issued by Department of Higher Education and Training or the Department of Labor.
Duties and responsibilities
• Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Power and Lights Restoration
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems and traffic signals.
• Inspect electrical installations, and components to identify hazards and defects.
• Respond to and resolve emergency maintenance issues
• Good knowledge of various test equipment
