As a
Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts with a keen eye for detail.
- Assist with month-end audit files, ensuring smooth financial close processes.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends and insights that inform decision-making.
- Calculate and prepare accurate VAT returns to ensure compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports for internal stakeholders.
- Generate financial reports covering budgets, accounts payable, receivables, and expenses.
- Review, monitor, and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Perform monthly reconciliations and calculations with precision.
- Process journal entries in a timely manner to maintain accurate records.
- Calculate annual rate and refuse escalations to ensure up-to-date financial data.
Job Experience and Skills Required: Relevant BCom/Diploma or financial qualification preferred
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
Experience in property finance
Proficiency in MS Excel
Familiarity with MDA/MRI Property Management Software
