We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated
RF (Radio Frequency) Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF system design, analysis, and troubleshooting, with expertise in the development and optimization of wireless communication systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in telecommunications, IoT, and wireless networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- RF System Design: Design, simulate, and optimize RF systems and components for a variety of applications, including wireless communication networks, cellular, satellite, and IoT devices.
- RF Circuit Design: Develop and test RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, mixers, and antennas, ensuring they meet performance and regulatory requirements.
- System Analysis & Optimization: Perform system-level analysis of RF systems, including link budget analysis, signal propagation, and interference management. Optimize designs for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Testing & Validation: Plan and execute RF testing (bench testing, field testing, and lab-based), using advanced RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes) to measure key performance metrics (e.g., SNR, BER, signal strength).
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide troubleshooting support for RF systems in the field, addressing issues related to interference, signal degradation, and other RF performance challenges.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of RF design specifications, test results, and system performance. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and client review.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, including hardware engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate RF solutions into larger systems and devices.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, ETSI) and international wireless communication requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Masters degree or further qualifications in RF/Telecommunications is a plus.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in RF engineering, preferably in the telecommunications, mobile communications, or IoT industries.
- Hands-on experience with RF simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST Studio, ADS) and testing equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of RF principles, including propagation, modulation schemes, and RF components (filters, amplifiers, antennas, etc.).
- Experience with wireless communication standards such as LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or other IoT protocols.
