Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the security vision, mission, and strategies for Group Security in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Risk Management: Lead fire and security risk assessments, create mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with Group's security policies.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Establish Group Policy 13 minimum standards, guidelines, and procedures to align with Group Security requirements.
- Crisis Management: Implement and manage the crisis management structure and participate in the Whistleblower Committee for investigations.
- Operational Oversight: Plan manpower and capital requirements, manage security operations budgets, and oversee contract security services.
- Collaboration: Work closely with heads of security at other brands and build relationships with law enforcement and private security organizations.
- Executive Protection: Develop and implement security plans for Executive Board members and their families.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct security audits, oversee incident response planning, and manage stolen vehicle recovery processes.
- Reporting: Produce weekly reports for Group Security and participate in planning meetings related to security and fire protection.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Security Risk Management with a focus on Business Management.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in the security industry, including 5 years in a management role.
- Experience in crisis management, investigations, international security, and operational security.
- Strong background in security audits, risk management, and vendor negotiations.

- Computer literacy and proficiency in English; Basic German is advantageous.
